Always a pleasure coming to Dr.Kests office, from his office receptionists to dental hygienists… always kind and polite and they take the best care of you! Dr.Tomasi was our saving grace/angel who didn’t like the way my daughters canker sore looked and sent her to get another look… it was biopsies, and we found she had tongue cancer! Non smoker, and only 25 years old! They caught it quick enough where she is in remission and checked every 6 months by her surgeon! Amazing! Good Bedside Manner. Dr. Kest is a very compassionate as well as a capable dentist. He is hyper vigilant with communication about what to expect and how things will be along the way. During a dental repair he pauses from time to time to check how I feel.I appreciate this level of concern. Not a lot of other dentists I have been to make sure that they are so checked-in with the patient. He takes extra time to ensure the final job is perfect, the patient is comfortable, and the tooth is restored as close as possible. It does take longer the work to be completed for appointments involving restorative work.

We recently moved here from IL. I was referred to this dentist because of the quality of services. I had an emergency situation where my husband who has four caps in the front, had one fall out one night while he was on his ventilator mask. We feared that he could have inhaled it or swallowed it. I called Dr. Kest’s office and explained what I needed to have done hoping to get it fixed before my husband has another medical procedure done in a couple weeks. Sherry was just wonderful and came back and asked if we could come in that same day at 3p. Once we arrived they were not only very professional but so very pleasant and caring. In an hour he was finished and as we left Dr. Kest himself came out to talk for a few minutes. He was such a great guy. I am so happy with their service that we will definitely make them our CT dentists. From Sherry, right up to the dentist himself they are all top-notch. Highly recommend them.

I am SO impressed by this office and their staff. I am such a baby and absolutely hate the dentist. I avoided getting a cleaning for 3 years because it gives me such anxiety. I finally decided I needed to go, and after reading some other good reviews, made an appointment at Dr. Kest’s office. ALL staff members there were so pleasant. Jessica (office manager) made my appointment, was so helpful. When I got there she greeted me and before I could even sit down to wait for my appointment, Brittany the dental assistant called me back for X-rays. both Brittany and Kelly (hygienist) were so gentle, and kind to me. I was seen by doctor Tomasi, who was very nice as well. Dr. Kest was also there and was so welcoming and personable! I can’t get over how nice everyone was, and am officially no longer scared to go to the dentist 🙂

What attracted me to Dr Kest for my mom was his website stating that he also treats the elderly. My 92 yr old mom moved to Southbury in November 2019 and she needed a new dentist. Thankfully, we went to Dr Kest, and he and his staff immediately coordinated an extraction for her before dentures could be processed. Dr Badwal was the oral surgeon and the procedure went flawlessly. Dr Kest was then able to begin the process with new dentures. Once they arrived, his tireless efforts to insure they fit Mom perfectly were most fruitful! Sharon, Jessica and his staff were more than kind, considerate, courteous, helpful and friendly. I am so grateful for all Dr Kest and staff did to make this process much easier on Mom and we’re celebrating her refound ability to enjoy food once again! I have been coming to Dr. Kest’s for a long time, and throughout all the years, it has remained a friendly, supportive, professional, and knowledgeable place. My hygienist and Dr. Kest always great me upon arrival, and before even jumping into the cleaning or exam, they ask how I am doing and take a minute to catch up on the last 6 months. It’s nice to go to a place that takes the time to get to know their patients and who really care. Besides cleanings, I have had to get several cavities filled, by both Dr. Kest and Dr. Tomasi, and although nobody would describe having this done as enjoyable, they certainly make it as pleasant as possible. All of their staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and we are lucky to have Dr. Kest’s office in our community.

I couldn’t be happier with the expert care Dr. Kest and his wonderful staff have always given me. All those who work for Dr. Kest are kind and compassionate, in addition to being upbeat and encouraging.

Dr. Kest is amazing. His attention to detail is incredible. He is a perfectionist who will not allow his patients to leave the dental chair until everything is just right, including the correct bite, color, or feel. He will go over and over a procedure until it’s perfect. He takes the extra time and goes the extra mile, making sure his patients are completely satisfied, then goes even further to make sure his own very high standards have been met. After a procedure Dr. Kest always calls his patients in the evening to make sure they are OK. I’ve appreciated this extra thoughtfulness on the part of Dr. Kest, especially after working a very long day.

Earlier this year my lower right jaw started to ache. After ruling out the necessity for a root canal it was determined that I had gum disease which had caused some bone loss. I was scared to death when I was told I needed a scaling and root planing (SRP) procedure. Martha assured me the procedure would not be a bad as I may have heard. Martha did such a great job the day of the procedure I didn’t experience any pain or discomfort at all. The procedure was even less painful than a routine teeth cleaning. Absolutely love this dentist office, and honestly never thought that was even possible. Dr. Tomassi made me proud of my smile. I had a tooth that had been damaged in a car accident over 15 years ago. It was cracked and discolored. No other dentist ever even mentioned fixing it. In a few short painless visits, my tooth is actually pretty. The staff is always super friendly, and well organized. Martha gave me an easy cleaning routine to keep, and my cleaning visits have now also become a breeze. Could not be more thrilled with a dentists and the entire staff. If it were possible to give them a 10 star rating, I would.

My first visit to the office was as a pre-teen, I had chipped my two front teeth playing sports and I had terrible white discoloration (calcification) on the majority of my teeth which made me very self-conscious. I kept my mouth closed because I was embarrassed to smile. Dr. Kest and his FANTASTIC staff and dental hygienist’s completely transformed my teeth through bonding, whitening, an Invisalign – they gave me my smile back which is one of my proudest assets to this day…15 years later.
